In short, Prehistoric Planet is exactly what I expected and hoped for. However, there still remained a few missing elements left to be desired.

There is so much potential to be an incredible total war game set in Victorian times, potentially redeeming Empire Total War’s previous faults. While scope may be the devil of implementation for this title, the payoff for achieving a balanced and scalable RTS during this rapidly evolving time would let us tap into some of the most interesting conflicts of the late colonial era.
Total War: Medieval 3
There have been lots of calls from the Total War community for a third Medieval title, considering how far technology has come a long way since Medieval 2 was released in 2006.

Other Total War veterans may believe this would just be a rehash of Rome but older and boring – but I believe the potential for exploring this era is full of opportunities and new perspectives.

With Warhammer III on the horizon and Three Kingdoms wrapping up its DLC content, it is inevitable that they are going to expand their IP to yet another ancient setting to keep their historically-inclined fans (like us!) on the hook for their next major release.
