Helldivers 2: Features We Love to See in Future Patches

Helldivers 2 has quickly become one of my favorite games. The gunplay, teamwork, and sheer chaos of the battlefield are unmatched—but there’s always room for growth. Here are the features I’d love to see in future patches or expansions: 1. Customizable Mech Suits The mechs are already a fan-favorite, but right now they’re limited to just two main loadouts: the minigun with rockets, or the quad autocannon build that many players prefer. On October 5th, 2003, environmentalist and filmmaker Timothy Treadwell – more commonly known as “Grizzly Man”, was killed in Katmai National Park in Northern Alaska by the very bears he vowed to protect. His story was covered extensively in the 2005 Werner Herzog documentary of the same name. This film extensively covers Tredwell’s life, interviews with friends and family, as well as his incredible footage.

There is so much potential to be an incredible total war game set in Victorian times, potentially redeeming Empire Total War’s previous faults. While scope may be the devil of implementation for this title, the payoff for achieving a balanced and scalable RTS during this rapidly evolving time would let us tap into some of the most interesting conflicts of the late colonial era.
